Welcome to the future!

Microsoft and Seattle-based studio Oh, Hello created this video fusing intercation- and motion design to give you a glimpse in to the sustainable future. The User Interfaces (UI) were designed by Microsoft’s Office labs, and brought to life by the motion designers over at Oh, Hello.

I think this video is a great example of how “green design” or the concept of sustainability can be communicated in a beautiful way, where sustainability doesn’t come in the expense of function, but it gives function.

Oh and by the way, the book the lady on the plane is reading is Cradle to Cradle, by William McDonough and Michael Braungart. I’ve read it, and I would recommend everone else to do it as well. Read about it here.
